The workshop
behind the work
Chronoluxe was established to offer attentive mechanical watch repair to owners in the Klang Valley who want their pieces handled with genuine care.

A workshop built on patience
Chronoluxe opened in Shah Alam after years of noticing that owners of mechanical watches in the Klang Valley had limited options when their timepieces needed specialist attention. Most commercial repair counters handle volume rather than complexity — they replace what is accessible and return the piece without deeper investigation.
The workshop was set up differently. The intake process begins with a proper assessment, not an assumption. Work is scoped to what is observed, not to a standard checklist. Where a complication needs attention, the watchmaker evaluates it within the context of the base calibre. Where parts are required, the search is conducted methodically, and the owner is kept informed at every stage.
The workshop name reflects a deliberate position: luxury, here, does not refer to price or prestige. It refers to the luxury of time — the willingness to spend it properly on work that matters. A written record accompanies every piece on its return, noting what was done, what readings were taken, and what the watchmaker observed.
The workshop serves owners who value that record. They range from those with a single inherited piece they want maintained faithfully, to those who collect broadly and need a reliable local point of service for references that require informed handling.
Mission
To provide attentive mechanical watch repair in Shah Alam — assessed carefully, communicated transparently, and documented fully, so that each owner understands exactly what was done to their piece.
Approach
Work is scoped to the observed concern. The owner is consulted before any step is taken. No blanket disassembly. No unnecessary replacements. A written account returns with the watch.

How we maintain quality
Written Assessment
Every intake begins with a documented assessment. The observed condition is recorded before any work commences, giving a clear baseline for the service.
Regulation Testing
Rate readings are taken using a timing machine before and after regulation. Results are recorded and included in the documentation returned with the piece.
Water Resistance Protocol
Following any case-related work, a pressure test is carried out where the design permits. Any deviation from factory specification is noted explicitly in the service record.
Owner Consent
No step beyond the initial assessment is taken without the owner's knowledge and agreement. Options are presented in plain terms before any work proceeds.
Reference Library
An in-house collection of technical references, parts catalogues, and calibre documentation supports accurate identification and sourcing for older and unusual references.
Data & Privacy
Owner and piece information is handled with discretion. Contact details are used solely for service communication and are not shared with third parties.
Mechanical watch repair in Shah Alam — a considered service
Chronoluxe operates as a specialist workshop with a focus on mechanical calibres — movements that rely on springs, wheels, and levers rather than batteries. This narrow focus means the tools, the reference materials, and the knowledge base are all directed at the same category of work.
The Klang Valley has a substantial community of watch owners whose pieces require more than a battery change or a strap swap. Vintage references, complications, and pieces with worn crown assemblies are all common requests. Chronoluxe addresses these in a deliberate, unhurried way, treating each piece as a unique object with its own service history and condition profile.
The workshop does not offer a quick turnaround as a selling point. Careful work takes the time it requires. What Chronoluxe commits to is communication — owners know the status of their piece, the options available, and the reasoning behind any recommendation made.
